Rockville, MD — Loggers from 26 states, working in coalition with forest products businesses and forestry equipment dealers, raised over $2 million for local Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) hospitals during the 2007 Log A Load For Kids campaign.
Since the campaign’s beginning in 1988, state Log A Load For Kids programs have raised a total close to $25 million for approximately 70 local CMN hospitals. “Thanks to your support and generous contributions, the lives of numerous children have been enriched during the last 19 years,” Log A Load For Kids Advisory Group Chairman Robert Williams told donors nationwide. “This year we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Log A Load For Kids. Let’s strive to carry the load for the children, our most precious resource, even higher these next twenty.”
Log A Load For Kids is an annual campaign which encourages loggers and others to donate the value of a load of logs, or any amount, to local non-profit Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.
